Amazon Prime Video‘s upcoming Tamil comedy reality show “LOL: Enga Siri Paappom” has generated a lot of excitement among comedy buffs. The show premieres on Amazon Prime Video on 27th August, in 240 territories across the world. The six-part show features ten contestants, all of them acclaimed comedians in the world of Tamil comedy. They are Maya S Krishnan, Abhisek Kumar, Premgi, Harathi Ganesh, RJ Vignesh Kanth, Sathish, Pugazh, Powerstar Srinivasan, Baggy (Bhargav Ramakrishnan), and Syama Harini. Fans of the comedians simply cannot wait for the show to start streaming, to watch them get their A-game to the show.
To further whet the excitement of comedy fans, Amazon Prime Video today released fun introduction videos of the contestants, with all of them at their hilarious best. The quirky introduction videos highlight the unique qualities of the ten comedy entertainers who will be seen on the show. LOL: Enga Siri Paappom is the Tamil version of Amazon Prime Video’s international comedy reality show, LOL: Last One Laughing. It is hosted by the late comedian and Padma Shri winner, Vivek. It is one of Vivek‘s last works before he passed away in April, and thus all the more special. Renowned actor Shiva is Vivek’s co-host in the show. Both act as judges and referees in the reality show.
The rules of the comedy reality game show are thus – the ten contestants will compete against each other for six consecutive hours. They have two objectives – to make the other contestants in the house laugh; and at the same time ensure that they do not laugh themselves. The one who laughs – loses! The last one standing gets the title and takes home a whopping cash prize of INR 25 Lakh.
The LOL: Enga Siri Paappom release date on Amazon Prime Video is set for 27th August.
