Freakin’ Finally!!!
The trailer we have all been waiting for – the Prithviraj starring drama-thriller ‘Kuruthi‘ released minutes ago, just as the Malayalam Superstar had clued us in, day before yesterday. The promotional video was again announced by the Mollywood actor, from his official Twitter account, which has the link to the trailer as well as the final few seconds of the main promo. Check it out below:

Mollywood filmmakers are well known for their very cryptic trailers and this one is the same – extremely cryptic. Similar to the previously released teaser, we have no idea about what’s happening in the movie, but we get a lot more scenes to what leads up to a very tense confrontation between Prithviraj‘s character and someone else. The final few seconds of the trailer has us on our edge and we don’t even know what the hell is going on in the trailer.
Rarely does a trailer with bare info hype up a movie. Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino film trailers are what comes to mind when we think of such promos. We don’t expect this movie to reach the heights of the movies created by the aforementioned Hollywood juggernauts, but this trailer is a different beast in its entirety. This promotional video provides almost no information but has somehow managed to pass its tense, thrilling, heart-racing setting through its brief moments of acting, dialogue and music. It has definitely got us in the mood to watch the movie and a week is too long for us to wait.
The Malayalam psychological thriller, ‘Kuruthi’, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 11th August 2021. Check out the trailer below (in case you couldn’t open this above link):
