With every other major actor and actresses looking forward to try their luck in the OTT market, Sonakshi Sinha too has finally landed on the streaming content. Amazon Prime Video India recently released a first look of Sonakshi’s upcoming project with the streaming giant where she can be seen as a cop named Anjali Bhatti. The yet untitled show is being produced by Zoya Akhtar & Farhan Akhtar on behalf of their production houses – Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films.
Since Women’s Day is upon us, many streaming platforms were supposed to release their new projects and Prime Video India like always came earlier. Reportedly the show was titled ‘Fallen’ when it kicked off it’s shooting. But now for some reason makers haven’t revealed the title of it as of now. From the poster, it seems that Sonakshi too is keen on reaping out benefits from the streaming market, as many of the actors have found their groove in the digital medium since the past year.
This show will become apparently the fourth outing of Excel Entertainment with Amazon Prime Video. We had earlier reported the same news last year when the shooting of the show was kicked off. Talking more about the show, it has been directed by Reema Kagti (Talaash, Gold) and Ruchika Oberoi.
The show is loaded with brilliant actors like Sohum Shah, Gulshan Devaiah and Vijay Varma. By the looks of it, the show is going to be a hard hitting thriller revolving around the character of Sonakshi Sinha who too is a no nonsense cop.
