Bigg Boss needs no introduction. Although it is one of the most hated shows in India, the views are a clear indication that the people who love it are enough to make it the most-watched non-fiction TV show in India. It is a sort of reality show but we can never know how real it is.
Regardless, Salman Khan has been the face of Bigg Boss for the longest period of time in India. The man established new norms in the Indian TV industry solely through his charm and impeccable hosting skills.
Bigg Boss OTT started as a new extended fun to the already established Big Boss on the TV. The first season was hosted by Karan Johar, followed by Salman Khan in the second one. The ongoing third season of Bigg Boss OTT is being hosted by Anil Kapoor.
So, what are the views saying?
It is indeed surprising. Big Boss OTT Season 3 is the most watched reality show on Indian OTT so far this year. Not only that, the views earned by the third season are more than double of the second season hosted by Salman Khan.
Tough to believe?
Yes, it is the difference of 5.3 million (Season 3) and merely (2.4) million (Season 2).
But, there is also legal trouble. Shiv Sena leader Manisha Kayande has demanded action against Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 for the utter vulgarity that it shows. They are targeted against Armaan Malik in particular.
We doubt if it will transform into something substantial but let’s see.
