Bollywood fans are often heard complaining that there is an absolute lack of creativity and newness. It can be said true for the top tier actors who are not seen in new kinds of films but now and then there are often gems coming out which go unnoticed.
One such experimental project came in 2020 by the name of Taish. We are calling it experimental because it was both a series and a film. It was simultaneously released as a six-episode series of 30 minutes each and also as a movie.
It stars Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Jim Sarbh, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Ankur Rathee, and Harshvardhan Rane. The crime drama series was directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
The story is based on a London based family of Indian origin. Jim Sarbh’s younger brother is getting married and there is a secret incident that links his family to the local gangster played by Harshvardhan Rane.
Something happens and Pulkit Samrat does something in “Taish”. Taish means aggression and we may do things with aggression that we regret in the future. The film/series is about that.
The music album, BGM, and overall storyline is extremely catchy. It acts as a set ground for the story to shine.
It may not be a perfect film/series but it is definitely enjoyable. We recommend you to watch it on Zee5 for a fine dose of entertainment.
