Netflix’s streaming series ‘Ozark’ had garnered widespread acclaim from OTT fans across the globe ever since its opening season debuted on the platform in the year 2017.
The crime drama series features Jason Bateman as a Chicago-based financial advisor and also stars Laura Linney as Bateman’s wife. The show’s underlying plot follows the family with kids who relocate to the Ozarks in Missouri for money laundering activities.
The fourth and the final season of the Primetime Emmy award-winning show ‘Ozark’ has been divided into two parts of seven episodes each and the first part started streaming from 21st January on the Netflix OTT platform.
There is one differentiating factor about Ozark’s fourth season that sets the show apart from its previous three seasons. And it’s the ‘Forrest Gump’ and ‘House of Cards’ lead actress Robin Wright. You might be wondering how Robin Wright is associated with the latest season of ‘Ozark’ series as she didn’t even feature in it as an actress. We’ll tell you how.
Actually, the last two episodes, that is, the sixth and the seventh episodes of the show have been directed by the Golden Globe award-winning actress Robin Wright. This interesting fact was even acknowledged by the streaming giant Netflix itself in one of its recent tweets (embedded below).

This is for the very first time Robin Wright has been roped in to go behind the camera for ‘Ozark’. However, this is not Robin Wright’s debut directorial project. Because previously she had directed multiple episodes of the Kevin Spacey starrer political thriller series ‘House of Cards’ followed by the 2021 adventure drama film ‘Land’. She had also featured as an actress in both these projects.
