Kareena Kapoor Khan has proved again with ‘Jaane Jaan’ that she is first an actor, then a superstar. With her images of Geet and Poo, the actor inside her is often overlooked by audiences.

‘Chameli‘ came out in 2004 and is directed by Sudhir Mishra. The screenplay is written by Anant Balani and Swanand Kirkire.
The movie tells the story of Chameli, a tremendously beautiful prostitute, who gets stuck in a place due to heavy rain. She meets Aman, a quiet, mild and polite investment banker whose car has broken down in the rain and he too is looking for shelter. The two people from very different backgrounds befriend each other and talk about each other’s lives.
Kareena plays the role of Chameli, the titular character. And the multi-talented Rahul Bose plays the role of Aman. There are other actors in the cast list like Rinke Khanna, Shahil Raichand, Yashpal Sharma, Satyajit Sharma, Pankaj Jha, Kabir Sadanand and many more. The performances are wonderful and other departments are executed well enough. The visuals are captivating. The cinematography is handled by Aseem Bajaj. The movie has some beautiful songs. The music is composed by Sandesh Shandilya and the lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil.
