Anand Deverakonda bagged a big hit on OTT with Middle Class Melodies which released directly on Amazon Prime Video last year. The actor has lined up his third film for a theatrical release. The movie is titled Pushpaka Vimanam. A newcomer Damodar has directed the film which will release soon.
Anand Deverakonda has repeated two OTT Lucky charms for the film. Firstly, he plays a middle-class Government schools teacher in the film. He is repeating the middle class background from his OTT Superhit, Middle Class Melodies.
Sunil plays a crucial role in the film. He will be seen as a police officer in the movie. Interestingly, Sunil played a cop in Color Photo which is another OTT superhit in Telugu during the pandemic. Thus, Anand Deverakonda is keeping two OTT Lucky charms for his film in theaters as well.
Sanvee Megghana is one of the female leads in the film. She played the lead role in Ramula, one of the stories in Netflix’s Telugu original, Pitta Kathalu. The story directed by Tharun Bhascker is the only positive in the four stories of Pitta Kathalu. So that is another OTT connection for the film. Geeth Saini is another heroine in this film.
