For those of you who were hoping to see the first official trailer for Andor Season 2 during D23 Brazil over the weekend, we have some good news! Thanks to Lucasfilm, the production house has unveiled the first official footage from the upcoming season, featuring the return of Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, and more.
The footage from Andor Season 2 is part of a new promotional video released by Lucasfilm, highlighting the projects set to arrive on the Disney+ streaming platform in 2025.

The video clip above is nearly 10 seconds long, but it features plenty of action-packed and exhilarating moments. The footage opens with a woman screaming, “Is there no one who can help us?” Soon after, it shows Bix (Arjona) telling Andor (Luna) that they “need a pilot,” and Luthen (Skarsgård) trying to motivate the protagonist by urging him to stop being a soldier and start becoming a leader.
Tony Gilroy’s Andor is undoubtedly the best live-action Star Wars series, even though we already know how the story of the titular protagonist ends in the franchise (spoiler alert: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story). Season 1 took a grounded, character-driven approach, focusing on the everyday lives of people caught in the crossfire of the Rebellion and the Empire. It delved into the complexities of the conflict, the sacrifices made, and the moral ambiguities on both sides—an aspect that had not been explored to such an extent before Gilroy’s creation—ultimately making Andor a unique and highly immersive experience for the Star Wars fanbase.
In addition, Ben Mendelsohn, who played Director Orson Krennic in Rogue One (2016), will appear in Andor Season 2 during the final episodes. Stay tuned for more updates.
