“Dragons of Wonder Hatch”, if you happen to love anime or even live adaptations for that matter then you must know this series as it is an amalgamation of the both.
Directed by Kentaro Hagiwara and featuring a talented cast, the Japanese series unfolds over eight episodes, promising viewers an enchanting journey into the worlds of Nagi and Tyme.
The narrative revolves around Nagi, a high school student in Yokosuka, Japan, who stands out due to her eccentric habit of visualizing sounds into colours. Nagi’s daydreams of soaring through the sky add a surreal touch to her life, emphasizing her sense of isolation from her peers.
On the flip side, in the alternate world of Upananta, Tyme, portrayed by Daiken Okudaira, grapples with his own set of challenges. As a dragon rider, he faces the dilemma of being unable to hear the crucial voice of dragons, a skill imperative for his role. His journey becomes even more complicated as he finds himself at odds with Hero Akuta’s group, eventually leading to his departure.
With a stellar cast including Sena Nakajima, Daiken Okudaira, and Mackenyu Arata, “Dragons of Wonder Hatch” promises a visually stunning experience. As the series makes its debut on Disney+Hotstar on December 20, 2023, audiences can anticipate a tale of self-discovery.
