The official trailer for ‘Annapoorani’ is out now. The movie stars ‘Lady Superstar’ Nayanthara in the lead role and is the directorial debut of Nilesh Krishnaa. The movie will hit the theaters on the 1st of December.
‘Annapoorani: The Goddess Of Food’ tells the story of a girl who wants to become a superstar chef. She learns to cook wonderful dishes and also gets an MBA degree. Annapoorani has to go through many hurdles for her career and in the end the last blow comes from religion. Her father cooks food in the temple and they come from a very pious family, so when she starts cooking meat she has to face the negativity and trollings from society, and even her own family. The cast includes actors like Jai, Sathyaraj, Redin Kingsley, Suresh Chakravarthy, Renuka, K. S. Ravikumar, Poornima and many others. The trailer looks good. Jai plays the role of Annapoorani’s boyfriend who also happens to be a cook.
After the massive success of Jawan, Nayanthara brings a movie as a solo lead. After the controversy of many of her scenes being cut from ‘Jawan’, she will not be doing any Bollywood movies anytime soon. But fans are excited that the ‘Lady Superstar’ is coming in a powerful role.
The cinematography of ‘Annapoorani’ is handled by Sathyan Sooryan and the music is composed by Thaman S. Do not forget to watch the movie in theaters from December 1st.
