Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd has joined the cast of Only Murders in the Building Season 3. He will share the screen with the leading trio: Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin. The actor had a shocking cameo appearance in the last season’s finale. He played Ben Glenroy, a talented theatre artist who died on the stage while performing. Although, it is unclear whether he has an extended role or will get a cameo again in the upcoming season.
The show’s co-creator, John Hoffman, confirmed Rudd’s involvement in Season 3 in a recent interview with Variety, “Paul Rudd, after making an auspicious entrance into the world of our show at the end of Season 2 as Ben Glenroy, is someone we clearly want to know more about and see in our upcoming Season 3 — as he is a clear source of many upcoming questions and, as ever with our show, many twists yet to come!”
Apart from the show, Rudd has shared the screen with Selena Gomex in Netflix’s The Fundamentals of Caring (2016).
Paul Rudd also had entertaining cameos in Disney’s Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers and The Bob Burgers Movie earlier this year. Additionally, his forthcoming MCU project, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, is scheduled to arrive in theatres worldwide on February 17, 2023. Apart from the leading man, the Peyton Reed directional has Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang, and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conquerer in its cast. Furthermore, a prominent Marvel villain, MODOK, will appear in the film as well.
All episodes of Only Murders in the Building are available on Disney+ Hotstar. Stay tuned for more updates.
