Hollywood filmmaker Antoine Fuqua will soon be coming with his adaptation of a new bestseller novel. ‘Sky’s End’ was the debut novel of author Marc J Gregson and went on to stay many weeks in the list of New York bestsellers. It is a dystopian drama and fans are excited to see Fuqua’s take on the novel.
Antoine Fuqua is highly renowned for his exceptional filmography which includes action thrillers, spy movies and strong Black history movies. His ‘Emancipation’ and ‘The Magnificent Seven’ made fans go crazy. But he is mostly popular for his ‘The Equalizer’ series starring Denzel Washington.
Sky’s End is the first movie in a trilogy and the other two books are yet to come. The book tells the story of a young boy named Conrad who is exiled to an island. He becomes the heir to the huge wealth of his corrupt and murderous uncle and he refuses to inherit the money. Soon, his mother is murdered by some enemies and Conrad finds himself bound to some duties and responsibilities he did not see himself to be in.
When the movie will come is not revealed yet. Cast announcements are also yet to be made. Antoine Fuqua’s next upcoming venture is the musical ‘Michael’ which will be the biopic of Michael Jackson, and it is slated to be released in 2025.
