Last year, it was announced that Antoine Fuqua, the man behind movies like ‘Training Day’ and ‘The Equalizer’ film series, was roped in to direct a biopic feature film based on the globally popular Late singer and dancer Michael Jackson. And now, as per the latest update, the movie’s theatrical release date has been revealed.
The upcoming Michael Jackson biopic titled ‘Michael’ is slated to hit the big screens worldwide on 18th April 2025. The film features Michael Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson in the lead role (his first major movie role). The movie is supposed to commence production on 22nd January.
The eagerly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic will ostensibly focus on different aspects of the life and career of the brilliant yet complicated man, who is well-known across the globe as the King of Pop. The film will delve into his triumphs and tragedies and will attempt to showcase an inside look into his human side, personal struggles, and his creative genius.
It will be interesting to see how the Michael Jackson biopic ‘Michael’ will deal with the serious allegations which were made against him.
