‘Metro…In Dino’ has been slated for a new release date now. It will now hit the theaters on November 29, 2024.
There is much confusion and intrigue among fans, as the movie got postponed multiple times in a year. The movie was previously going to be released on December 8 in 2023, then it was postponed to the 29th of March in 2024, then again to 13th of September. And now, finally, it is going to come out on November 29.
‘Metro…In Dino’ will have a stellar cast of actors like Aditya Roy Kapur, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi and Neena Gupta.
The movie will not probably be a sequel or follow-up to ‘Life In A Metro’ from where the ‘Metro’ in the title is taken. ‘In Dino’ is a highly popular song from the same movie. Life In A Metro was an anthology with interconnected stories of love, lust and betrayal. There were wonderful actors in the movie like Irrfan Khan, Dharmendra, Shiney Ahooja, Kay Kay Menon and more. Irrfan Khan was in talks with the director to make an appearance in ‘Metro…In Dino’ too, but his untimely demise robbed us off the opportunity to see him in a heartfelt Anurag Basu romance again. Konkona Sen Sharma played the role of Irrfan’s love interest in the first movie and she is coming back for ‘Metro…In Dino’ too, though it is not clear whether she plays the same character.
The shooting is on and the teaser and trailer will hopefully be revealed soon. Fans eagerly wait for the movie to come out on November 29.
