We are less than a week away from getting George Miller’s highly-anticipated Mad Max spinoff project, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, in theatres. The film has Anya Taylor-Joy playing the young and brave version of the protagonist, who later becomes Imperator Furiosa in Fury Road (2015). Apart from Taylor-Joy, fans will witness Chris Hemsworth portraying the wicked warlord, Dementus.
To celebrate Furiosa’s grand theatrical release, Total Film Magazine has unveiled some brand new look images straight from the film’s sets. In the newly released images, we see Anya Taylor-Joy’s transformation as Furiosa. In addition, we get a close look at the first encounter between Dementus and Furiosa. Apart from these two, the latest images also give us a glimpse of Tom Burke’s Praetorian Jack.

In a recent interview with Total Film, director George Miller teased that ‘Furiosa’ would have more practical and breathtaking stunts compared to Fury Road. Unlike the Tom Hardy starrer (which was a pure chase film), Furiosa serves as an odyssey for its female protagonist. Her past is closely connected with Dementus, the deranged and tyrannical leader of the biker horde.
The rest of the film’s cast has talents like Lachy Hulme (Immortan Joe), Nathan Jones (Rictus Erectus), John Howard (The People Eater), Angus Sampson (The Organic Mechanic), Daniel Webber (War Boy), and Charlee Fraser (Mary Jo Bassa, Furiosa’s mother).
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will arrive in India on May 23, 2024, a day earlier than its worldwide release. Stay tuned for more updates.
