Zee5 has unveiled the trailer for satirical comedy film ‘Helmet’ starring Aparshakti Khurrana, Pranutun Bahl, Abhishek Banerjee and Ashish Verma in the lead. Helmed by Satram Ramani, ‘Helmet’ will start streaming on Zee5 from 3rd September, 2021.
The trailer begins with Lucky (Aparshakti Khurrana) trying to buy condom at a store but with people standing around him, he feels shy in doing so and instead buys other irrelevant things like shampoo, deodorant, biscuit, etc. On reaching home Rupali (Pranutan Bahl) ridicules him for not getting the condoms.
On the other hand there’s Sultan and Minus (Ashish Verma). While Sultan is in debt and needs to repay the money soon to Bunty (Sharib Hashmi), Minus works too has a minimal source of income.
With everyone in need of money, Lucky plans to steal a truck full of mobile phones with his friends Rupali, Sultan and Minus. With not much security, these four nobodies successfully rob the e-commerce truck but get shocked when they find condoms in place of mobile phones inside the cartons.
In order to turn this nightmare into a money yielding business they form a company with the name ‘Helmet’ in reference to how condoms are commonly referred to by the public. They first try selling it to the shop but the shopkeeper refuses to buy as nobody buys it from him. They later realise that many Indians want to buy condom but often feel embarrassed. So now they try to search for potential customers and sell the condoms directly to them in a discrete manner.
They soon start selling in huge numbers but will it all go as planned or is there more drama in store for Lucky and his friends? To find out catch ‘Helmet’ on Zee5 from 3rd September onwards.
‘Helmet’ is Aparaadh Khurrana’s first film as the lead actor and he stars alongside Pranutan Bahl, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Verma and Sharib Hashmi among others. The comedy drama film is produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Dino Morea’s DM Movies.
Satnam Ramani makes his directorial debut with ‘Helmet’ which he has co-written with Rohan Shankar. The film will release on Zee5 on 3rd September, 2021.
