Applause Entertainment and Amar Chitra Katha have teamed up to bring brand new animation series for the audience to witness some of India’s greatest mythologies.

Amar Chitra Katha has been a premier institute in the Indian comic and graphic novel scene for a long, long time. Amar Chitra Katha has brought to life and helped educate generations with its interesting concepts about various Indian mythological characters and many more stories that have been passed down generation after generation. Amar Chitra Katha has more than 400 titles in today’s time, it will be exciting to see which ones Applause Entertainment chooses to bring to the audience.
India’s animation scenario has been explored for a long time, but sadly not many animation projects have been hits over the years. The most recent animation series that received quite some attention and has been considered a hit at the moment is “The Legends of Hanuman”, which has been streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. It will be interesting to see what titles Applause Entertainments brings to the audience and how they will inculcate modern technologies with traditional stories to entertain the people.
Will these shows be something that can be enjoyed by everyone, or will they be meant for only a certain age group? Where will these new titles be released and what shall be the format? There’s a lot of questions at the moment, but for now, we can wait and see how this partnership pans out.
