Apple has swooped in to grab the buzzy comedy film ‘Outcome’, written and directed by Jonah Hill, and starring man of the moment, Keanu Reeves. Apple Original Films managed to pick up Outcome after winning a tough bidding competition, with all prestigious film companies looking to grab the film.
After all, with Keanu Reeves delivering the massive hit ‘John Wick Chapter 4’ recently, any project starring him is hot property right now. Apple Original Films, the movies arm of the content giant, had acquired ‘Outcome’ late last year, though the deal has been confirmed and finalised only now.
‘Outcome’ is a dark comedy film, written by Jonah Hill, along with Ezra Woods. Hill is also directing the film. Keanu Reeves plays a burnt out Hollywood star in ‘Outcome’, who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip from his past.
Jonah Hill is not only the writer and director of ‘Outcome’, he is also producing the film under his film production banner, Strong Baby, along with partner Matt Dines. There’s no other information available on the rest of the cast and crew of ‘Outcome’.
Outcome is the second Jonah Hill film under production at Apple. The first is a Grateful Dead biopic that Hill is producing, along with Martin Scorsese’s Sikelia Productions. The film is to be directed by Scorsese, and stars Jonah Hill himself.
