The upcoming Morgan Neville creation tells the story of the beloved comedian and actor across two timelines. The documentary project treasures new interviews with Steve Martin, who provides intriguing details about his stand-up comedy and movie career.
Apart from Martin, we see other prominent celebrities in the latest trailer, such as Jerry Seinfeld, Tina Fey, Selena Gomez, Martin Short, Finn Wittrock, Diane Keaton, and more.
“STEVE! (Martin) a documentary in 2 pieces” explores Steve Martin’s extraordinary tale of his rise to fame. The film tells Martin’s story from two different points of view. The “Then” portion of the documentary offers insights into Martin’s early struggles, his rapid rise to fame, and his contribution to revolutionizing the art of stand-up comedy. On the other hand, the “Now” portion explores his present life. According to the comedian, his recent years are the best years of his life. In addition, we see the veteran teasing his retirement to focus more on his personal life.
