Apple TV+’s ‘1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything’ Shows a Beautiful Era of Music!

Apple TV+ has been making some waves in the content game with a focus on highly cliched as well as heart-warming stories. They have been making a great impact in the thriller genre which has been backed by some great writers and extremely talented actors.

1971: The Year that Music Changed Everything’ is a docuseries that uses archival footage to take us into that era of music and the impact that it had on the people. It is directed by Asif Kapadia, Danielle Peck, and James Rogan. Asif Kapadia is also the executive producer of the show along with James Gay-Rees, Adam Barker, and Chris King.

The makers will be using footage and interviews and showcase how some of the biggest musical icons of that time influenced the people and their ideology. ‘1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything’ will examine some of the most iconic singing sensations which include The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, The Who, Joni Mitchell, Lou Reed, and others. Apple TV+ themselves have created a good collection of documentaries in the recent past judging by the fact that their reservoir of titles is not as big as Netflix or an Amazon Prime Video. ‘Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry’ being one of the most recent well-known documentaries on their platform.
