Telugu film, Ardha Shatabdham is skipping its theatrical release and is coming directly online. The movie will stream on Aha Video, the 100% Telugu exclusive OTT platform on the 26th of this month. The makers have arranged a press meet in Hyderabad ahead of its release.
“The film happens during the time period between 1950 and 2003. We will reflect on things like – How is Indian democracy reflects on the normal public? How are we understanding that and are utilizing it? There is a love story embedded with these questions,” the movie unit explained. The offer of Aha Video has come as a boon to the makers when their film got stuck in the cans during the pandemic.
Karthik Ratnam is the lead hero in the film which has Krishna Priya as the female lead. The movie has a notable cast with Naveen Chandra, Sai Kumar, Suhas, Pavitra Lokesh, Ajay, Subhaleka Sudhakar, and Raja Ravindra playing important roles. Naveen Chandra appeared in two direct to OTT releases like Bhanumathi Ramakrishna and Super Over (Both on Aha Video). Both the movies ended up as good hits. Ardha Shathabdham is directed by a newcomer Rawindra Pulle and has music by Rawfal Raja AIS.
