The Great Indian Kapil Show is going off air soon. Archana Pooran Singh, one of the key members of the show, recently revealed that they have shot for the first season of the show and they would be going off air very very soon.
But, try to remember the good old days when The Kapil Sharma Show used to air on Sony TV. It would air for months if not many years. In this case, the show had a really short life.
The reason?
We are not negating the possibility that it could be due to the schedule. Maybe, this is how the show was meant to be. Netflix India instead of very long TV format episodes will rather do frequent renewals.
Or, the other reason could be the possible cold response. Yes, the show actually got a very cold response and people don’t seem to be interested in it at all.
Maybe Netflix India trimmed the schedule for the show looking at the low views. In a way, nobody would keep on running a show if the people were not showing any excitement for it.
Maybe by the beginning of the second season, the writers will figure out something new and innovative that appeals to the audience. Till then, stay tuned to Binged for more interesting stories and updates from the OTT industry.
