Netflix has weird stories in its bag. But, surprisingly, these weird stories are the ones that click with fans and become a hit. One of those has to be “You”, a series starring Penn Badgley in the lead, and with two seasons, the show is an absolute hit. Netflix’s “You” has been garnering attention all the way since it was released. The series which is an adaptation of the book of the same name written by Caroline Kepnes is all prepared for Season 3 now and looks like Netflix finally has some updates for us.
The Twitter account that is dedicated to the Netflix series “You” seems to be active once again after a long, long time. This time it has some interesting updates, we see three videos coming in with Joe played by Penn Badgley tying an apron around him and with the words “Prepare Yourselves” in one. The second video shows Badgley cracking open an egg and with the words “Something’s Cooking” flashing up. The third and last video shows him wiping off some blood, which should be chocolate by the way, from the tip of a knife. This video flashes the words; “Ready to Serve” and the caption mentions “Come hungry tomorrow”.

Now if we backtrack a bit more on the account, we see a beautiful announcement that shows Joe and Love inviting fans to see what their baby will be named, which shall be revealed on Monday. Now with all the teaser videos, we feel like this will have more than the baby’s name in the announcement. Is it finally time for fans to know when Season 3 of “You” will finally stream? Well, we can only know all this when we get something. But, knowing Netflix, and knowing that “You” has been such a popular series, we feel like Netflix might play us again.
This isn’t new; Netflix has teased fans for a long time with updates of various series and films. This won’t be new, if Netflix almost, basically gives us nothing once again with the series. But, then there’s a bit of hope that something big might be arriving. The series’ last season dropped back in 2019 and it was in 2020, that “You” was renewed for a third season. With the shoots wrapping in April this year, and the update that “You” will be releasing in the fourth quarter of 2021, it seems like there might be some bigger update than just a baby name reveal.
