Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are set for another collaboration after Ishaqzade and Namastey London. While both the performers share a good rapport both on and off-screen their latest outing will have them portray a very different relationship from what they have otherwise accustomed to.
The makers of the film have released a new trailer today and it has built quite the anticipation amongst the audience. Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar sees both Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra play dark characters as there is always a sense of tension and animosity between the pair in this film.
Sandeep (Parineeti Chopra) and Pinky (Arjun Kapoor) meet each other as Pinky is a corrupt cop and Sandeep is a corporate executive on the run. Both of them meet but things take a surreal turn as one has to constantly be on the lookout for threats.
The latest trailer gives us a brief idea of what one should expect from the film and the twist, in the end, is pretty shocking. Sandeep and Pinky Faraar is directed by Dibakar Banerjee. The whole vibe of the film is a space where it is Sandeep vs Pinky or Parineeti Chopra vs Arjun Kapoor with a lot of intense and witty scenes. It is unlike any other project that they have done together.
Dibakar is said to have told sources that the action and violence on screen weren’t choreographed or rehearsed extensively. The basic movements were just practiced before they got on with it which gives it a more realistic touch. Parineeti Has been shifting towards darker roles as her latest release on Netflix with ‘The Girl on the Train’ also sees her portray a role that has dark undertones.
Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is all set to release in theatres on 19th March.
