Netflix has announced Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first ever scripted television series in a lead role ‘FUBAR’ and the veteran star is back with a bang. Created by Nick Santora (‘Reacher’, ‘Prison Break’), ‘FUBAR’ will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 25th May, 2023.
In the announcement/first look video launched today for ‘FUBAR’ we see Arnold looking all classy and handsome doing some sleek action. Towards the end we get a hint of humour as he gets hit at just the wrong place.
‘FUBAR’ follows Luke, a CIA operative on the verge of retirement who discovers a family secret. He and his daughter have lied to each other for years but when they discover the truth, they realize they don’t actually know anything about each other. To make it more interesting Luke is forced to go back in the field for one last job.
‘FUBAR’ is a show that tackles the universal family dynamics and is set against a global backdrop of spies, action and humour. In addition to Arnold, the Netflix series also stars Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Jay Baruchel, Andy Buckley, Aparna Brielle, Barbara Eve Harris, Fabiana Udenio and Gabriel Luna.
Produced by Skydance Television and Blackjack Films, ‘FUBAR’ will start streaming only on Netflix from 25th May, 2023 onwards.
