Sports documentaries have been the rage in the past few years, with the fly-in-the-wall format being the most popular among them all. Amazon Prime Video has been known for its brilliant ‘All Or Nothing’ sports documentary series which has covered over 4 sports and 12 teams. The web series initially kicked off with a documentary about a team participating in the NFL (National Football League) which then went on to cover other international sports – Rugby, Ice hockey and Football. And next year, Arsenal (an English Premier League football club) is going to be the next team to be a part of the ‘All or Nothing’ franchise.
This will be the third Premier League Football club to feature in the ‘All or Nothing’ Series. Manchester City was the first English team to be a part of the franchise docu-series back in 2018, which was then followed by Tottenham Hotspurs in 2020. And now, Arsenal will join in the footsteps of these English Premier League clubs by joining in this series.
Arsenal has had a terrible 2020/21 season. The London club has been on the decline for some time now and since the 2016/17 season, Arsenal has not managed a top 4 finish (which allows a team to join the Champions League), with the club reaching the 8th spot in back-to-back seasons (during 2019/20 and 2020/21). The last time Arsenal went below 6th place in the Premier League was back in the 1994/95 season when they reached the 12th position in the league. With a young manager who is in dire need to prove himself, a squad filled with experienced and young players and one of the largest fanbases in the world rooting for this club – we expect something brilliant to happen, or at least some good TV material.
The ‘All or Nothing’ Series featuring Arsenal is expected to release in 2022 on Mazon Prime Video. Follow us for more updates regarding the same. Check out the announcement tweet regarding this new documentary series down below:
