Yami Gautam led sensational political film Article 370 is now streaming on Netflix India. The movie was released a few months back and did phenomenally well at the box office.
The movie became even more special because it is from Aditya Dhar who was the man behind the brilliantly made film Udi: The Surgical Strike.
Article 370 stars Yami Gautam, Priyamani, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Kaul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar in pivotal roles.
The film through a really good screenplay makes us understand the complex birth and death of Article 370. Also, the history part is fairly accurate and the only thing it lacks is in showing the plight of the Kashmiris. The film could have done much better in that respect.
Anyway, the movie is now streaming on Netflix India and the people are actually loving it. They are decorating the film through various honourable adjectives and it must be a matter of celebration for the makers.
The thing that stands out for the audience is the fact that the film does not pretend to be something that it is not. The movie tries to be fairly neutral in its portrayal of the controversial subject and it is a great turn on for the majority of the audience. People who support the abrogation of the act will anyways watch it, but those who are not will also tolerate it due to its neutral nature. Let’s wait to see the actual views of the film.

On the subject of the film Article 370, Priyamani was simply mesmerizing in her performance as the Chief Secy of the Home Ministry.
Can understand now why even big heroes avoid acting opposite her.
She makes it a must-watch film.
