When Article 370 was released on Netflix India last week then it was all rage. And why not?
After all it is the election season and the movie suits the political environment of the nation.
Regardless, Article 370, as you may already know, is about the birth and death of one of the most infamous monsters of our constitution that we know by the name of Article 370.
It gave special privileges to the state of Jammu & Kashmir. It might have been used to ensure different purposes but it cut the Kashmiri land from the rest of India. Regardless, the movie is about the act, how it impacted the state and its removal.
The film was actually well made and people loved it. Even the box office collection was more than good. When the movie dropped on Netflix India then people went all crazy about it.
Yami Gautam did a phenomenal job and the rest of the cast were convincing too. Coming from the maker of Udi: The Surgical Strike, the movie is very balanced in its treatment of the story.
The views as you can see below are decent. Given the fact that a lot of people watched it on the big screens itself, it could have been a lot better. But, for a theatrical film of this magnitude and quality, it is fine.
