Cannes Grand Prix winning Iranian film ‘A Hero’ is finally all set to release in Indian theatres. Written and directed by Oscar winning filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, ‘A Hero’ will premiere in cinemas across India on 8th April, 2022.

‘A Hero’ follows the story of Rahim who gets out from prison on a two day parole in order to repay a debt but gets mired in a chain of unfortunate events. The whole thing gets messed up and puts his reputation and relationship both at risk as he gets arrested.
Starring Amir Jadidi, Mohsen Tanabandeh and Sahar Goldoost in prominent roles, ‘A Hero’ was selected as Iranian entry for the best international feature film at the 94th Academy Awards.
‘A Hero’ is produced by Alexandre Mallet-Guy and Asghar Farhadi. Memento Films is the production company behind the film. ‘A Hero’ will release in cinemas throughout India on 8th April, 2022.
