A new Ashok Selvan film is in the works. The yet to be titled Tamil film will be produced by Viacom 18 Studios in association with Rise East Entertainment. The shooting for the film has now begun.
R. Karthik will serve as the writer and director for the film. Other than Ashok Selvan (‘Oh My Kadavule’), the film also stars Ritu Varma (Pelli Choopulu’, ‘Tuck Jagadish’), Aparna Balamurali (‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’, ‘Sunday Holiday’, ‘Soorarai Pottru’) and Shivathmika (‘Dorassani’) among others.
The poster released by Viacom 18 Studios shows a scenic, greenery filled backdrop where hills and clouds seem to touch each other. One can also see a narrow road spiraling down the side of the hill. In another similar poster released for the film we also see the Tibetan prayer flag.

George C Williams will serve as the director of photography for the film while Antony will edit it. Film’s production design will be handled by S. Kamalnathan. Gopi Sundar will compose the film’s music. The untitled film will be produced by Sagar Pentela.
Viacom 18 Studios is a production house known for its producing notable works like ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, ‘Kahaani’, both parts of ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’, ‘OMG: Oh My God!’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Mary Kom’, ‘Drishyam’, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Padmaavat’, ‘Andhadhun’, Netflix’s ‘Ray’ and many more.
