Jio Cinema has unveiled the trailer of the much awaited mythological mystery crime thriller ‘Asur’ season two and it’s intriguingly thrilling. Helmed by Oni Sen, ‘Asur’ 2 will premiere only Jio Cinema for free on 1st June, 2023.
‘Asur’ 2 trailer begins on a dark note where a kid wishes to grow up to become all things evil. It gets darker as the trailer proceeds. The whole team at CBI including Dhananjay Rajpoot (Arshad Warsi) and forensic expert Nikhil Nair (Barun Sobti) alongside their colleagues try to find out what Shubh is upto next.
As they keep investigating and putting themselves at risk, who they are up against is using deep, dark side of technology to bring the kind of apocalypse that affects everyone in some way or the other. Meanwhile, Dhananjay believes he needs to catch Shubh as he created the monster in him and for that he needs to understand his mindset.
‘Asur’ 2 is a crime thriller series set in the context of a modern day serial killer having religious ties. In this latest season the series offers an amalgamation of mythology and modern day technology to a more extreme and thrilling extent.
Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Anupriya Goenka, Ridhi Dogra, Amey Wagh, Pawan Chopra, Vishesh Bansal, Gaurav Arora are returning to reprise their roles in ‘Asur’ season two with Meiyang Chang and Adithi Kalkunte joining the cast. ‘Asur’ 2 will start streaming for free on Jio Cinema from 1st June, 2023 onwards.
