JioCinema is showering with announcements and teasers and now it has released the official trailer for the sequel of ‘Asur’. Asur 2 is definitely one of the most anticipated shows of India and the teaser has got the fans by surprise.
Asur 2 will be streaming on JioCinema from the 1st of June and it will be available to stream for free. The teaser is intriguing and suspenseful and looks like season two will be a banger.
‘Asur’ is a thriller series created by Gaurav Shukla and Vibhav Shikdar that first premiered in 2020. It starred actors like Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Anupriya Goenka, Ridhi Dogra, Amey Wagh and Sharib Hashmi and was directed by Oni Sen. The first season was streamed on Voot.
Asur told the story of a forensic expert and his mentor who are out to catch a dangerous serial killer. The wife of the mentor-detective is killed by the killer and all doubt goes against him but he tries hard to prove himself and catch the killer. The murderer quotes mythological and religious writings and has a philosophy of evil inside all human beings. He wants to destroy the law and order and the detective finds out that he knew this person in childhood. But who is he now? And is he operating from within the agency itself? The first season ended with a huge cliff-hanger and fans have been dying to know the full story. Finally their wait has been put to an end and Asur 2 will be released on June 1, with all the answers.
The taser looks awesome and the conflict between Dhananjay and Shubh is eminent here. Who is going to win in the fight of good and evil, or is he good after all? You will have to watch the show to know.
