On completing three years and entering into the fourth, the Bengali video streaming platform Hoichoi has launched an initiative named “Hoichoi Season 4″. Under this, it announced the first look of a whooping 25 web series, 4 digital premieres and two new films under First Day First Show, to arrive on the Bengali platform in the coming months.
Other than this Hoichoi will collaborate with leading content creators like Srijit Mukherji, Dhrubo Banerjee, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Anirban Bhattacharya, Debaloy Bhattacharya, Q, Kamaleswar Mukherjee among others. It will also launch a brand new avatar of its app and website with “revamped interface, brand new interactions and a host of new features” very soon.
The platform revealed that it has around 13 million subscribers with international ones accounting for a huge 40%. Hoichoi witnessed a ×2 growth in the past year which it hopes will continue in the time to come.
Some of the actors brought on board by Hoichoi include Swastika Mukherjee, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Raima Sen, Swaswata Chatterjee. While some first looks are of new seasons of previously launched series, the other are brand new. These include –
1. Charitraheen 3 –
It is a story about love, lust and pain.

The four films to have their world digital premieres on Hoichoi are – Dracula Sir, Kakababur Protyaborton, Prem Tame and Golondaaj.
