Deva has been an important film for Bollywood in 2025. The film is a remake of Mumbai Police which was a Malayalam film and a celebrated one. The film was remade with Shahid Kapoor in the lead who is easily one of the finest actors in the industry. Well, people rejected the film on the big screens and it came out as an unsuccessful project.
However, a lot of films find a rebirth on OTT where they are accepted and celebrated in a new spirit. However, Deva was not lucky enough to have this sort of treatment.
Even on OTT, people are quite unhappy with how the film came out to be. They are sad that the movie messed up even some basic things and they are very right in their opinion.
Deva is by no chance a good film and its trolling is not coming out of nowhere. But there is a good thing too.
The movie is getting widely appreciated for the acting of Shahid Kapoor. He is getting widespread appreciation for the kind of performance he has pulled. But, there is practically no other reason to watch the film.
