The first reviews for the world’s biggest release of the year are pouring out. Avatar The Way Of Water has been released in theaters. The magnum opus by James Cameron took years to make and the result is extraordinary as expected.
The visuals are unseen before and are extraordinary, to say the least.
But the bigger question is; is it all about visuals?
No. Because some reviews are saying that the film is exceptional from the story part but it is not so from the writing point of view. The biggest complaint is the same as what was being questioned some time back.
The three-hour-long duration of the film is emerging as the culprit where the character development and events become slower.
But things are not that plain. Such complaints would anyway keep coming as the story is an extremely subjective part of the film.
But one thing upon which most of the reactions seem to agree is the fact that the story is the weaker part of the film. That doesn’t mean it is bad.
So Avatar The Way Of Water is exactly a kind of cinema that relies on its visuals. So it must be judged according to that. This factor will also help the movie fight against the leak which happened yesterday.
But the later reactions and ticket prices would govern the success of Avatar 2 in India.

#AvatarTheWayOfWater
A sequal of #avatar
Visually stunning I've never seen like this before worth watch for visuals but story and screenplay is dead slow, duration Is the big minus but nothing matters infront of the Magical VISUALS. pic.twitter.com/K0E08N7rZe— MJ (@sakthimjs) December 16, 2022
The story is quite plain and probably the weakest part of the movie. There are some good dialogues but not too great. The kids have a major role in the movie and it feels that the next parts will have them as the main character. #Avatar2
