2021 was a phenomenal year for Netflix films. We got high octane commercial films like Red Notice along with masterpieces like The Power Of The Dog.
Another film that was unanimously hailed as one of the sharpest satires and drew a lot of attention was Don’t Look Up. The film had a bunch of superstars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill, Meryl Streep, Timothee Chalamet, and more. Needless to say, it is one of the best and most successful films Netflix ever made.
Its director was Adam McKay. Good for Netflix, they have acquired the rights to his next film titled Average Height Average Build.
Yet again, the cast is super exciting. It has Robbert Pattinson, Amy Adams, Robert Downey Jr., Forest Whitaker, and Danielle Deadwyler.
The film will star Robert Pattinson as a serial killer that looks to influence American politicians to make murder easier. On the other hand, Amy Adams is the state lobbyist that forms a sort of connection with the murderer.
We don’t know about the character of Robert Downey Jr and others yet. The film has not started shooting and it is expected to take around two years before it finally arrives.
Adam McKay is one of the finest filmmakers in the American film industry. Let’s see what Average Height Average Build does.
Stay tuned to Binged for all updates from the film.
