Vikram Bhatt is back again with the very popular horror franchise “1920” that has been a commercial success in the past. After four sequels, Bhatt is back with the fifth film of this franchise, starring “Balika Vadhu” fame Avika Gor and helmed by his daughter Krishna Bhatt. Avika is marking her debut in bollywood with this movie.
On Saturday, Vikram Bhatt took to his Instagram and posted a picture of him alongwith Avika Gor, Krishna Bhatt, and Mahesh Bhatt. Previously Mahesh Bhatt stated that this project has been shelved and there won’t be any further sequel. But now they’re all set for the venture with “1920- Horrors of the heart“, to be released on 2023.

Actress Avika Gor was a Television sensation after her roles in “Balika Vadhu” as Anandi and Roli in ‘‘Sasural Simar Ka.’’ She was also a participant in “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” and “Khatron Ke Khiladi.” Apart from her roles in serials she has also acted in some regional movies, particularly Telugu movies, on and off, but now finally she will be essaying a role in bollywood, which according to some sources was a kind of a dream for her.
This horror franchise has brought a lot of spine-chilling moments and scenes in the past, with Vikram Bhatt directing the first movie of this franchise , “1920” released on 2008, starring Adah Khan and Rajneesh Duggal. The story was inspired from the horror movie “Exorcist”, and was well received by the audiences.
