You may be aware that Ayothi was supposed to be released on Zee5 today but it is not streaming yet. Do you know the reason? Well, we have the new release date and the reason as well. So carry on.
Ayothi opened to very high ratings. Not only was it lauded by the critics but also the audience. The film is directed by debutant R. Manthira Moorthy.
It stars M. Sasikumar, Preethi Asrani, Yashpal Sharma, and Pugazh in important roles.
We often say that the presentation of any story matters more than the story itself. It is true at least in the 21st century when cinema is over 100 years old and has almost exhausted the limitations of newness it can achieve. The writers involved in the screenplay of Ayothi understand it pretty well and they took immense care of how the story is presented in the film. Perhaps that is the reason Ayothi did so well in terms of critical and commercial reception.
The film tells the story of a man who gets trapped in the world of crime. Now it may seem an ordinary and over milked story but yet again, the presentation was top-notch.
Usually, we see movies hasting their OTT release because they bombed at the box office but it is exactly the opposite with Ayothi. The movie is still doing well in the theaters and that is the reason the film got delayed last minute.
But, now the film is scheduled for release on April 7 and we hope Ayothi does get released.
