British – Polish film ‘The Zone Of Interest’ has been generating massive buzz amongst critics and audiences. The World War II drama snagged three BAFTAs at the 77th BAFTA Awards this week. The German – Polish language film has also nabbed five nominations at the Academy Awards 2024, where it is certain to pick up several Oscars too.

Well, your wait is now over, coz The Zone Of Interest has set a theatrical release date in Indian theatres. The film will release in Indian theatres on 1st March, 2024, which is next Friday. The Zone Of Interest first released in theatres in the US on 15th December 2023, then in the UK on 2nd February 2024, and in Poland on 9th February, 2024. Now, almost three months after its initial theatrical release, The Zone Of Interest will premiere in Indian theatres.
World War II drama The Zone Of Interest is written and directed by Jonathan Glazer. It is based on Martin Amis’ 2014 novel of the same name. The movie stars Christian Friedel as German Nazi commandant Rudolf Höss, who strives to build a dream life with his wife, Hedwig (Sandra Hüller) in a new home right next to the German Auschwitz concentration camp. The movie is harrowing and heart-rending at the same time.
