The Bangladeshi film ‘Toofan’ is finally coming to OTT after its long run in the theaters. The movie will be available to watch on Hoichoi from the 19th of September this year. It was one of the most anticipated films from the country in recent times. The movie stars Shakib Khan in the lead role and has other actors like Chanchal Choudhury, Mimi Chakroborty, Mausama Rahman Nabila, Misa Sawdagar and more. This collaboration between Bangladesh’s most popular commercial star Shakib Khan and the critics’ favourite performer Chanchal Choudhury drew many audiences for the film. Toofan is a period drama based in the 90s and tells the origin story of a gangster.
‘Toofan’ is an action thriller directed by Raihan Rafi, the director who has given too many blockbusters to the industry. His ‘Surongo’, ‘Poran’, ‘Damal’ are stories that are loved by all. The movie released in Bangladesh on the 17th of June and was accepted with huge love from the audience. It was also released in select theaters of India on the 5th of July. Chanchal Choudhury’s popularity in West Bengal is a well-known phenomena.
