‘October’ fame Banita Sandhu has been roped in to star opposite Adivi Sesh in his much anticipated upcoming pan Indian film ‘G2’. Sequel to the hit 2018 film ‘Goodachari’ directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, ‘G2’ will be helmed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi who will be making his directorial debut with the film and had served as the first AD for Sesh’s ‘Major’.
Sandhu has worked in Hindi, English and Punjabi industry and is known for her films like ‘October’ and ‘Sardar Udham’. ‘G2’ will mark her debut in the Telugu film industry.
The anticipations are high for ‘Goodachari 2’ given Adivi Sesh’s new found pan India level stardom after ‘Major’ and also because the first part was quite a success at the box office.
The sequel was confirmed long back in 2018 itself and will be a continuation of the first part. ‘Goodachari 2’ is touted to be an epic spy action thriller film and it will be interesting to see which other cast members will be returning to reprise their roles in the second instalment.
‘G2’ is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal. People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments are the production banners backing the film. Shooting for ‘G2’ is set to commence soon and will take place across India, the UAE and Europe.
