May is going to be a month of blockbusters on Indian OTT. Highly successful films such as RRR, KGF Chapter 2 and Beast are anticipated to release. Amidst all, the premier date of Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast is out now.
The Tamil blockbuster Beast is all-set to stream on Netflix India and Sun NXT from May 11 onwards. Interestingly, it will be a dual release just like Dasvi or ’83. But on Netflix, the film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi too.
Beast starring Vijay in lead role released on 13th April and was a huge success in Tamil Nadu. But it was a fiasco in other states becasuse of the KGF Tsunami which brutally impacted the film.
The film also stars Pooja Hegde in a small and insignificant role. Apart from them it includes Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko and is directed by Nelson.
The film tells the story of a RAW agent who retires after a traumatizing event that takes place in his mission. While in Chennai, he barges into a mall and tackles against a major terrorist attack going inside.
The film is a treat for the fans of Vijay and let’s see how it performs on Sun NXT and Netflix.
