Did you people realise that a 7 episode Indian series starring an actor as stellar as Sanjay Mishra is streaming? Also, it is not some obscure OTT platform but the biggest streaming platform in India ie Disney+Hotstar?
We are sure that the majority of you didn’t. Also, we don’t blame anyone for that because it has suddenly started steaming. There were no promotions, no announcements, not even a streaming alert but the series has started streaming.
But Binged just like ever is here to inform you of the activities going on in the Indian OTT space.
Bed Stories is a brand new series which is streaming on Disney+Hotstar. Mind you that just 5 days ago, a YouTube channel named “FilmsByFilm Buffs” uploaded the trailer of the series. Surprisingly, no release date was mentioned in the trailer and it just said “streaming this monsoon”. It clearly said that the series will stream on Disney+Hotstar itself but since the platform didn’t share it on their channel, hardly an appreciable number of people noticed it.
But surprisingly, it is now streaming. Looks like this series is a sour gulp for Hotstar as they didn’t put any effort whatsoever into promotion.
