Beef is undoubtedly one of the best shows we have seen in 2023. While it is gaining strong word of mouth among the audience, the makers are planning for an upcoming season. Binged informed its readers about the plan of extending Beef through the next seasons.
Meanwhile, the creators and Netflix are considering an Emmy nomination in the “Limited Or Anthology Series” category.
Mind you that this category does not limit the series from getting renewed. In fact, the show can return but not with the same characters. This we have seen in multiple series throughout.
Currently, there are only two submissions in the Limited Or Anthology Series category. Namely Black Bird and Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
But while this Emmy campaign goes on, we need to look at how Beef has performed at Netflix. Seeing the charts we must say that it is an extremely slow start. Given the super strong word of mouth the show is getting, things should have been far better.
As you can see in the list above, Beef is in the third spot with not so appreciable views. In fact, it is even below Love Is Blind, which is a cringe fest at best.
Regardless, given the low initial buzz, we may see an improvement this week. Stay tuned to Binged for the sure shot update.
