Indian 2 is now playing in the theatres and the response? Oh lord, the makers certainly didn’t want such a thing. Shankar has had a good track record but lately, 2.0 disappointed and Indian 2 is certainly gonna be the worst fiasco.
Indian 2 is getting terrible responses from both audiences and critics. The makers did not need to start shooting for the film in the first place but they did to encash the emotions of the first part that was released back in 1996.
Regular readers at Binged are aware that Indian 2’s digital partner is Netflix India. The movie is expected to be released on OTT soon because word of mouth is extremely bad and normally, buzzy films with poor box office numbers do not take a long time to be released on OTT.
But before Indian 2 could arrive, the platform is ready to bring the original Indian on the platform. Yes, the movie was restored recently and perhaps it could be the restored version that Netflix India is bringing. As of now, India is streaming on many platforms including Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar and more. However, they are the regular versions from 1996.
Regardless, Indian is coming to Netflix India on Monday, July 15th. Better save yourself from the sequel.
