You may already be aware that review aggregator website ‘Rotten Tomatoes’ categorizes titles as per their in-house ‘Tomatometer’ score. As per Rotten Tomatoes, ‘Certified Fresh’ are those movies that attain a minimum ‘Tomatometer’ score of 75%, which in turn, is based on a specified number of critics’ reviews.
Just a few days back, we had made our readers aware that 139 ‘Certified Fresh’ film titles have been included in the latest Rotten Tomatoes ‘Best Movies of 2021’ list. We also informed that out of these 139 movies, just one Indian movie was able to make its way to the coveted Rotten Tomatoes list – ‘The Disciple’.
Besides ‘The Disciple’, there are many other popular film titles that have made it to the coveted ‘Rotten Tomatoes’ list. We have selected for our readers some of these popular ‘Certified Fresh’ movies out of a total of 139 titles which you can watch on various Indian OTT platforms.
The list is an interesting blend of popular titles couple with some content-oriented movies. On one side, there are some entertaining movies like ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ and ‘Oxygen’. While on the other hand there are some profound films like Sundance darling ‘CODA’, ‘Judas and The Black Messiah’, Korean drama ‘Minari’, and of course our very own Indian film – Chaitanya Tamhane’s ‘The Disciple’.
