Movies come and movies go. Well, so do TV series. But to ensure that you don’t miss out on any of the good ones, we’ve summarized the best OTT releases of this week for you right here, in one list!

1. Article 370 (19 April) – Netflix
An action-packed political drama that revolves around the takedown of terrorism in Kashmir by rendering Article 370 of the Indian constitution ineffective.

2. The Color Purple (19 April) – Rent / Buy on Prime Video/ iTunes/ Google Play
The latest rendition of the classic tale by Alice Walker, the story spans a decades-long tale of love and resilience and a woman’s journey to independence. Celie faces many hardships in her life but ultimately finds extraordinary strength and hope in the unbreakable bond of sisterhood.

3. The Tourist: Season 2 (19 April) – Lionsgate Play
When a man wakes up in the Australian outback with no memory, he must use the few clues at his disposal to discover his identity before the past catches up with him.

4. Jane: Season 2 (19 April) – Apple TV+
Budding environmentalist Jane is a 9-year-old on a quest to save endangered animals. Using her impactful imagination, she takes her best friends David and Greybeard the chimpanzee on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world.

5. Secrets of the Octopus (22 April) – Disney+ Hotstar
Octopuses are like aliens on Earth: three hearts, blue blood, and the ability to squeeze through a space the size of their eyeballs. But there is so much more to these weird and wonderful animals. Discover all about them in this insightful docuseries!

5. Tigers on the Rise (22 April_- Disney+ Hotstar
Tiger populations have rebounded in the country finally and thus, many of these big cats are straying from forest reserves into farms and villages. The heroes in this story are the vets, scientists, and community patrols dedicated to ensuring that tigers and people can coexist.

6. The Jinx: Part 2 (22 April) – JioCinema
The docuseries examines the life of real estate heir Robert Durst, who became a suspect in several murder cases. It presents interviews, evidence, and twists in the investigation that captivate audiences.

7. Mother Saigon (23 April) – Rent / Buy on iTunes

8. Brigands: The Quest for Gold (23 April) – Netflix

9. The Big Door Prize: Season 2 (April 24) – Apple TV+

10. Dead Boy Detectives (25 April) – Netflix
Charles Rowland and Edwin Payne — who decided not to enter the afterlife in order to stay on Earth — investigate crimes involving the supernatural.
