The legendary entertainer, Carol Burnett, will guest star in the sixth and final season of AMC’s Better Call Saul. She is globally prominent for her groundbreaking sketch comedy show, The Carol Burnett Show, which ran from 1967 to 1978, consisting of a total of 279 episodes. She made her Hollywood debut with Daniel Mann’s ‘Who’s Been Sleeping in My Bed?’ starring alongside Dean Martin and Elizabeth Montogomery. In 2019, the Golden Globes even named an award after her for her outstanding and revolutionary work in television.
Burnett will play the character of Marion in the final season of Better Call Saul. “I’m thrilled to be a part of my favourite show,” the beloved entertainer said in a statement.
Speaking of guest roles, one of the show’s creators, Peter Gould, confirmed in April this year that the iconic duo of Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) will return in Season 6 via his interview with Variety.
Carol Burnett will also star in Kristen Wiig’s upcoming Apple comedy series apart from her guest role in Better Call Saul. The first of the final six episodes will premiere on July 11 after a jaw-dropping midseason finale. These episodes will conclude Saul Goodman’s arc in Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad universe.
Better Call Saul serves as both a prequel and a sequel to the events of the Breaking Bad series. It shows the journey of a former con artist, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), and his transformation into Saul Goodman, a criminal defense lawyer. Also, we have Jonathan Banks playing Mike Ehrmantraut, a former cop who turned into a private investigator. In addition to these two gentlemen, the show’s cast consists of Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Giancarlo Esposito, Tony Dalton, and many more. Indian viewers can watch all seasons of the show on the Netflix streaming service. Stay tuned for more updates.
