Done with its theatrical run, action entertainer Telugu drama ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ starring ‘RX100’ fame Kartikeya Gummakonda is all set for its digital premiere on Netflix. Helmed by debutant Prashant Reddy, ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ will premiere on Netflix on 28th June, 2024.
‘Bhaje Vayu Vegam’ follows the story of Venkat (Kartikeya Gummakonda) who after losing his parents is raised by his father’s friend alongside his own son Raju (Rahul Tyson). When they grow up they move to Hyderabad for future prospects. While Raju is looking for a job in tech, Venkates wants to be professional cricketer but life isn’t easy and they end up living poorly and barely managing somehow. Amidst all this their father gets ill and they need money.
Desperate times leads to desperate measures and that’s what gets Venkat into betting and lot worse. What follows is him being chased by politicians, cops, and gangsters as he escapes accusations of killing an officer.
Directed by Prashant Reddy and written by Madhu Srinivas, ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ stars Kartikeya Gummakonda, Rahul Tyson, Iswarya Menon, Tanikella Bharani, P. Ravi Shankar, Krishna Chaitanya, Sharath Lohitswa and more.
‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ has been praised for the performances by the actors but the storyline seems to be more of a convoluted narrative with attempts to fit in a lot. Despite that the film is said to be a decent action entertainer with its moments of thrill.
